Your struggle is real, but so is your Savior.
Sometimes I put my struggle above my Savior. Sometimes I elevate my pain over the Prince of Peace. Sometimes I put my hurt over my Healer.
I must get out of my head and into God's word. I must calibrate my mindset to reflect the hope I profess.
This process isn’t always easy, and it's usually uncomfortable. Why? Because the struggle is real—the pain is real. And yet after the process of soul calibration, I am always renewed.
Because when I put my Savior above my struggle, I remember He has already overcome the world. When I give my pain over to the Prince of Peace, I find joy once again. And when I take all my hurt to the Healer, I am made new in the presence of the Almighty God.
Friends, don't let your pride or your pain keep you from the soul calibration you desperately need today.
I've done it too many times to count, but let me remind you that you don’t have to suppress your struggle in the seeking, asking, and knocking. Come as you are, struggle and all.
You don't have to suppress your pain to pray.
You don't have to sweep your sorrow under the rug to worship.
You don't have to hide your hurt from God.
You can take every doubt and disappointment directly to the living God today.
Yes, the struggle is real, but so is our Savior. And when we come back to God and calibrate our soul, we are refreshed in His presence, promise, and provision for our lives.
Your struggle is real, but so is your Savior. And He has already overcome the world. So take heart today, friends.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 NIV
Here is your encouragement recap. Take what you need, dear one. The Heavenly Father wants to encourage you with His love and empower you by His Spirit.

Washing Dishes with Jesus
Just like the daily act of washing and rinsing dishes, we repeat daily acts of devotion to our Lord. We read the word. We pray. We return. We reflect. We rejoice. We wash, rinse, and repeat. And when life gets hard, we look to Jesus. We weep, we wail, we worship, we wait, we wonder, we wave our white flags of surrender and find rest in His outstretched arms. We remain. We wash our minds in His word, we rinse our hearts in His presence, and we repeat.
The Burden to Bloom
Stop trying to "bloom where you're planted." Instead, make room for God to guide you, grow you, uproot things within you, love you, and lead you by His Spirit. What burden to bloom are you carrying? Are you ready to set it down and be free? Here's the first step in living a life free of the burden to bloom.
Don't Force Your Foot
What’s Next? We all want to know what’s next on God’s agenda for us- what school we will attend, what job we will land, who we will marry, what house we will end up in, or what our next earthly assignment for the Kingdom will be. It’s easy to get caught up in “what’s next.”
Thank you. Particularly at this moment in time for my whole being. Struggling for so long now with my body, mind and spirit. Your post is hitting home, and I will read it again tomorrow. I've been sleeping as much as possible today with the help of meds, to get relief from the torture within me. Thank you, beautiful woman/sister/friend. 🩷🌸🩷
